Anthony Robert McMillan (30 March 1950 – 14 October 2022), known professionally as Robbie Coltrane, was a Scottish actor. He is best known for his role as Rubeus Hagrid in the Harry Potter film series (2001–2011), for which he gained worldwide recognition.
