YĆ«betsu (ăăăčă€) is a frigate of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF), and the eighth ship of the Mogami class. She was named after the YĆ«betsu River in Hokkaido and is the second ship to bear the name, after the YĆ«bari-class destroyer escort YĆ«betsu.
