I worry about Magyar's party, too.

Its founders did not need contributions from people to run in the 2022 election, but "relied on ... the personal wealth of its founders".

A rivaling oligarchy party? 😬

Rappelons que Magyar est libéral conservateur, donc ce sera pas le grand soir non plus si Orban dégage... fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parti_R...

Tisza supports the Fidesz government's position against sending weapons or troops to support Ukraine following Russia's invasion.[80] The party also is opposed to Ukraine's accelerated EU accession.

Do keep in mind that the Tisza Opposition Party is center right. Some of their platform stakes seem attractive, but they look like they only want to focus economically towards the West, not the East.

Something to keep an eye on. 1/2

Whoa. The Magyar win in Hungary is really, really interesting. I don’t know much, but this new party’s movement as described by Wiki is major food for thought.

In March 2025, the Tisza Party in Hungary conducted an informal referendum. Not surprisingly, the results were the opposite of Orban's policies.

Let's wish the new government the best in implementing them and creating a freer Hungary!

Thought it's fantastic that Orban has been defeated, the winner, Peter Magyar is hardly a progressive. He and his Tisza Party is a conservative neoliberal group a bit like or Tories (well until BadEnoch came along)
