The Judaean Desert or Judean Desert (Hebrew: 诪执讚职讘址旨专 讬职讛讜旨讚指讛, romanized: Midbar Yehuda, Arabic: 亘乇賷丞 丕賱禺賱賷賱, romanized: Bariyat al-Khalil) is a desert in the West Bank and Israel that stretches east of the ridge of the Judaean Mountains and in their rain shadow, so east of Jerusalem, and descends to the Dead Sea.
