From 1967 to 1975, 15 ships and their crews were trapped in the Suez Canal after the Six-Day War between Israel and Egypt.

oh this reminds me, after the Six-Day War the Suez Canal was closed till 1975, however there were 15 ships in the Canal when the war broke out and were thus trapped there for 8 years, dubbed the "Yellow fleet" for being covered in dust
