In Greek mythology, Alcyoneus or Alkyoneus (; Ancient Greek: Ἀλκυονεύς, romanized: Alkyoneús) was a traditional opponent of the hero Heracles. He was usually considered to be one of the Gigantes (Giants), the offspring of Gaia born from the blood of the castrated Uranus.
