Wilhelm Eduard Weber ( WEB-er or VEY-ber; German: [ËveËbÉ] ; 24 October 1804 â 23 June 1891) was a German physicist and, together with Carl Friedrich Gauss, inventor of the first electromagnetic telegraph.
