I don't understand why I enjoy this. It has all the trappings of a song I would hate: the uncanny autotune, the stomp-clap-stomp-clap beat, the interpolation of an older song, the modern pop-country sound, the whistling. And yet it all comes together to create something that I enjoy a fair bit.

If I absolutely had to choose a political ideology at the very edge of the political compass to support it would almost definitely be one of these.
