there's a little something I'd like to call the "playstation curse". essentially, at the end of a playstation console's generation, every series playstation has does a skill check. if they fail the skill check, playstation will never make a good game in that series again. they will literally forget how to make that series, or they'll torpedo the series' lore so bad that the series will sink like the fucking titanic

but this one is the one that makes me the most angry, because holy shit. in an attempt to "reboot twisted metal", they remove the character based cars (which is kinda the WHOLE IDENTITY of twisted metal), absolutely slaughter the visual design, MAKE IT TEAM BASED??? this is way worse than the playstation curse. this is an entirely new series. they built the ship of theseus from the ground up and then blamed the original for the hole in the bottom.

I absolutely despise this game. NEGATIVE ten out of ten.

So, this entry has some flaws, but the amount of content, and battle and mission modes makes this such a fun entry to go back on
