an interesting game in an otherwise dull series where the writing gets better as the plot continues - a reversal from the standard 'strong opener, dud end' writing of its era. wonderful stealth, abundant world interactivity, good characters and cool explode-y action await you. sometimes, a character will excitedly spew a meme like "all your base are belong to us" or something while hacking. this is to showcase that they're nerds that the player can relate to, even though they're running people over at 165mph in a high-speed chase

Alright I was originally hyping this up, but I've been thinking about it...

First of all, Fibbage 4. While admittedly not my top fibbage (I actually prefer 3 more), 4 has one of my favorite artstyles, topping at second at one point out of any fibbage EVER. It's amazing. I love it so much.

Second of all? Junktopia. Remember Patently Stupid? Well now the items make themselves. Or you can make them yourself too, if you want. THEY TURNED A DRAWING GAME INTO A WRITING GAME. Nobody plays this enough, I swear. It is sorta outclassed by Patently Stupid, though, and considering that's in 7... I can see why not a lot of people play this. Still, great for people like me who freaking SUCK at art.

Now, here's the problem. Quixort is good, but is a lot better (read: really good) when you're alone. And nonsensory is kinda... not great designwise? Like it's a full scale that from testing pretty much only ever uses the top half. So... yeah.

...I still have to give this a Y though, for one simple reason:

Roomerang.

I freaking love Roomerang. So much.

During the like.. about a year after pack 9 came out, I spent hours browsing twitch for winner picks game streams solely to play more roomerang.

I love reality shows, PARTICULARLY big brother which roomerang parodies. I love playing big dumb characters, and the gimmick is cool. Also, the ending theme I no joke for the past month have been playing on loop.

I love Roomerang. I love Pack 9.

The problems are there, and quite frankly I do not give a single fuck.

it says something when WHEEL is your high hitter. Now, granted, Wheel rules, but it's not exactly the kind of thing I'd expect to be... headlining a pack? But whatever, good game, what else is-

Drawful Animate is more drawful. But with more stuff you have to draw. And also it's kinda bland and uninteresting. And also you have to draw two images at once. And also it takes longer.

...Fun.

Poll Mine is actually surprisingly fun, but is built in such a way that streamers actively choose the shittier mode and is also TEAM BASED so you can LOSE without ACTUALLY doing anything wrong. And, like, not in a fun way. Again, twitch player here, so I might be a bit biased but, yikes.

Job Job encourages you to just spit the most dumb brainrot shit ever imagined by man onto a piece of paper and hope it works.

Seriously, there was a point where I just got the word "9/11", used it three times in a row, and it won.

And then there's Weapons Drawn.

Literally unplayable. I'm sorry to Zeeple Dome, Lie Swatter, freaking whatever comes after this, this game is LITERALLY unplayable online

you can draw whatever and you're DISTINCTLY encouraged to obuscate your art.

The best way to tell how good a game is is how often its' played on twitch streams.

No lies: I was on twitch the DAY OF RELEASE of Pack 8.
